Citizens Defending Freedom visited Melissa ISD in November speaking against Title IX and the "138 books in your school libraries" that needed to be removed. They said they were "making the rounds" to all the other districts.

I signed up to go…hope to be able to attend. Also, I did find the title 9 template for the school board resolutions. It was on the TX state web site for citizens defending freedom.
I spent an hour reviewing their site and all the info about Title 9. There’s much there but did not see any specific recs for school districts. Was their “visit” during a public board meeting?
I know for sure that group leaders from Tarrant/Collin County made statements at board meetings last month in Keller & Plano ISD. Usually when they do that they also send emails to trustees/superintendents. And they're pretty coordinated, so if they're doing it in two counties, they're probably doing it elsewhere.
I was one of 10 citizens speaking against the Title 9 resolution passed by SBISD a few weeks ago. Do you have any info on what group or organization is recommending this resolution action to school districts?
Citizens Defending Freedom has been pushing it in some districts, but I want to look into it more before I say for sure they’re behind the effort in SBISD.
Thanks for doing these Frank, it is truly exhausting keeping up with what’s happening and where so we’ll know how to assess it when it arrives in our district.

Thank you for the heads up!
Just saw a “Launch” event for Harris Co citizens defending freedom. Will try to send a screenshot.

Would appreciate any info you find. I hope to follow up with a few trustees later this month. My email is mjcs@swbell.net.
